Jens Becker (bass player of Germany heavy metal band Grave Digger, ex-Running Wild) - I like their music also very much, but I met them only two times in my life (Wacken and Blind Guardian Festival). At least we have the same booking agent, called Henry Klaere. No, I was not there (when Grave Digger recorded albums), when Hansi came to sing. I already finished my bass parts and was already home. But he did a great job there. We never were able to do this live, hahaha. I think it was „Knights of the Cross“ and „Excalibur“ (taken from the interview with Blind Guardian Czech fanclub, October 2005). |

Marian Petranin (vocalist of Slovakian power metal band Dead-Poets-Society) - Blind Guardian was one from my firsts band who influenced me. Their music, beside Helloween, King Diamond and Iron Maiden, obsorb me quit. With interest I watch their transformation from speed/power metal band up to the band with large epic take. Jirka Mejstrik (guitarist of Czech Metallica revival band Damage, Inc.) - I like most old Blind Guardian stuff if I talk for myself. Their music fused aggresivity, using by force, speed, harmony, melody and instrumental craftsmanship all members. Stefan Arnold (drummer of Germany power metal legend Grave Digger) - We had two guests. Hansi from Blind Guardian recorded backing vocals on last three albums already. He is friend of our band. We had call him and asked if is possible come to weekend recording session and he imediately said yes. Long time ago I played with the band Grinder. It was so called classic Germany metal band and till today some fans coming with old CD´s for autograph. Once we had tour where the Blind Guardian were support band. Really, it´s no joke. Chris Bay (singer and guitar player of Germany power metal band Freedom Call) - Kai Hansen just went promotour over Japan and whole Europe, but I know him very well, cause between Freedom Call and Gamma Ray exist very good relationship. je velmi dobrý vztah. In addition, we had borrowed some Gamma Ray equipment and Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian provided me his microphone, so you can see that there are friendly relations between the groups (taken from the interview in Czech magazine Spark 7/1999).
