There you can find at first albums overview here (so called samplers), what any Blind Guardian song contains. Sampler is the term for the album with many different bands. Most of these albums used label companies or magazines for their promotion. On samplers the bands released principally the same versions taken from the official albums, sometimes you can find there edit version of some song taken from upcoming album. Special category of the samplers forming the tribute albums. There you can find at second side projects overview here too, including albums, where take part somebody from the Blind Guardian member as guest musician only. Rock Hard Virgin Summer Slam (summer 1992) - sampler released by Virgin, distributed by Rock Hard magazine, CD contain the songs from upcoming albums of four bands: Blind Guardian - Time What Is Time (5:42), My Sister´s Machine - I Hate You (3:40), The Smashing Pumpinks - I Am One (4:06), Reverend - Gunpoint /live/ (4:20).

A Tribute To Judas Priest /Legends Of Metal Vol. II/ (September 1996) - sampler with cover versions to Judas Priest honour released by Century Media; Blind Guardian recorded the song Beyond The Realms Of Death; bands: Iced Earth, Heaven´s Gate, Nevermore, Gamma Ray, Forbidden, Angra, Overkill, Kreator, Skyclad, Stratovarius, Virgin Steele, Leviathan.

Gods Of Noises (July 1997) - sampler released by GUN/BMG like flashback to speed and thrash metal era of 80th years, Blind Guardian song there is Lord of the Rings (second version taken from The Forgotten Tales); bands: Judas Priest, Grave Digger, Manowar, Running Wild, U.D.O., Rage, Saxon, Helloween, Motörhead, Accept, Dr.Butcher, Scorpions, Thunderhead, Sodom, Forbidden, Kreator, Hate Squad.

Pillow Killz - The Third Prophecy (demo 1990); Christoph Theissen (g) with Blind Guardian on 1986/1987 demo Battalions Of Fear recorded, soon left the band and founded own band Pillow Killz. As guest there is Thomas Stauch (dr) who recorded Between two Worlds + Loss of Mankind. Hansi and André recorded choirs. Demo produced by André, second engineer Hansi; recorded at the Twilight Hall studio.

Gamma Ray - Land Of The Free (1995); Germany speed metal band founded by Kai Hansen (g, vocals) when he is leaving the band Helloween. Hansi Kürsch recorded backing vocals for some songs there: Rebellion In Dreamland, Farewell, Land Of The Free; P 1995 Modern Music Records, C 1995 Maldororo/Wintrup; 1995 Noise.

Grave Digger - Tunes Of War (1996); Germany power metal band released album Tunes Of War with the notice about thanks to Hansi Kürsch on the booklet; taken from the one interview with Hansi Kürsch he is admit backing vocals recordings on this album; P + C 1996 GUN Records.

Nepal - Manifiesto (1997); Argentinian heavy metal band released album Manifiesto, where some parts in Spanish language to the two tracks Hansi Kürsch recorded, tracks: Besando La Tierra + Estadio Chico; more guests: Ricardo Iorio, André Matos, Kiko Loureiro, Georgina Biddle a Martin Walkyier. P + C 1997 Rock Brigade Records.

Iron Savior - Iron Savior (June 1997); Germany speed metal band Iron Savior is the side project of Piet Sielck (ex-Blind Guardian sound engineer, ex-Helloween). Piet recorded albums with many guests so far. Thomen Stauch (ex-Blind Guardian) recorded drums on this album, Hansi Kürsch recorded vocal in the first and third strophe in the track For The World.

Edguy - Vain Glory Opera (1998); Germany power metal banda Edguy released on 15.1.1998 album Vain Glory Opera, where you can find Hansi Kürsch voice in two tracks: Out Of Control (5:03) + Vain Glory Opera (6:08); more guests: Frank Lindenhall (dr), Ralf Zdiarstek (v), Norman Meiritz (v), Timo Tolkki (g), Andy Allendorfer (v).

Grave Digger - Excalibur (1999); Germany power metal band Grave Digger released album Excalibur, where you can find backing vocals and choirs with Hansi Kürsch and Piet Sielck (ex-Blind Guardian sound engineer); released P + C 1999 by GUN Records.

Therion - Deggial (2000); romantic/doom metal band from Sweden released on 31.1.2000 album Deggial, where you can find track Flesh of the Gods. This track as vocalist recorded completely Hansi Kürsch; released by Nuclear Blast Records.

Rage - Unity (2002); Germany power metal band Rage released album Unity, where you can find backing vocals with Hansi Kürsch; basic tracks of the songs for this album Rage recorded at Blind Guardian´s the Twilight Hall Studios.

Angra - Temple of Shadows (2004); Brazil power metal band Angra released conceptual album Temple of Shadows by label Paradoxx Music/SPV a Steamhammer, where you can find the track Winds of Destination with the vocal duet between Hansi Kürsch and Eduardo Falachi (Angra vocalist).

Savage Circus - Dreamland Manor (2005); Thomas Stauch leave Blind Guardian on 2004 and made new band under the name Savage Circus with old friend Piet Sielck (Iron Savior) and with two guys from Sweden band Persuader (Jens Carlsson /voc,g/ and Emil Norberg /g/). Album released by Century Media on 29.8.2005, but Thomen soon leave this band too.

Aneurysm - Shades (2007); this Italian progressive metal band from Verona exist since 1994, but conceptual album Shades is their second record only at time. Among some guest musicians you can hear there the voice of Hansi Kürsch in the song Reflection.

Nuclear Blast All-Stars - Into The Light (2007); compilation released by Nuclear Blast to their 20th anniversary. Album produced by Victor Smolski (Rage), guests: T.Sammet (Edguy), P.Wagner (R age), T.Kakko (Sonata Arctica), Mats Levén (Therion), Schmier (Destruction), A.Deris (Helloween), Oddleif Stensland (Communic), M.Hietala (Nightwish), Tarja (ex-Nightwish). Hansi Kürsch recorded vocals in the song Slaves to the Desert.

Ayreon - 01011001 (2008); 7th album of space rock opera by Arjen Anthony Lucassen. In the first almost 11 minutes long time song Age of Shadows you can hear voice of Hansi Kürsch; guests: Daniel Gildenlöw, Tom S. Englund, Jonas Renkse, Jorn Lande, Anneke van Giersbergen, Steve Lee, Bob Catley, Floor Jansen, Magali Luyten, Simone Simons, Marjan Welman, Arjen Anthony Lucassen.

Dreamtone & Iris Mavrakis´s Neverland - Reversing Time (2008); Turkish progressive band Dreamtone plus Greek´s singer Iris Mavrakis made symphonic project and released album Reversing Time, where you can find Hansi Kürsch (vocals and backing vocals) in the track To Lose The Sun, guests: Tom Englund, Gary Wehrkamp, Mike Baker, Philarmonia Istanbul Orchestra, Ozan Alparslan, Ipek Kahraman...

Van Canto - Hero (2008); Germany vocal band Van Canto released on 26.9.2008 second album Hero. At first there you can find The Bard´s Song cover from Blind Guardian, at second there you cand find song Take to the Sky with the voice of Hansi Kürsch. Album producend by Charlie Bauerfeind.

The Arrow - Lady Nite (2009); Russian metal band The Arrow (formerly under the name Black Arrow) released on 15.2.2009 album Lady Nite, where you can hear the duet with the voice of Hansi Kürsch in the song Never Say Never.

Rage - Strings To A Web (2010); Germany power metal band Rage released on 5.2.2010 album String To A Web, where Hansi Kürsch recorded backing vocals in the track Empty Hollow. Edition CD + DVD on bonus DVD disc contains Rage live record taken from Wacken Open Air 2009 with Hansi Kürsch in three tracks: Set the World on Fire, All I Want, Invisible Horizons.

Solar Fragment - In Our Hands (2011); Germany power metal band Solar Fragment released in April 2011 under Italian company Scarlet Records their second album where appears Hansi Kürsch in the third song Inside The Circle. You can hear Hansi´s voice on the beginning of the song and before the solo and last chorus, his part imagine the Emperor of Star Wars who is speak to Vader...

Van Canto - Break The Silence (2011); Germany vocal band Van Canto released on 23.9.2011 their fourth album Break The Silence. Among guest musicians you can find name Marcus Siepen who is recorded guitar parts in the seventh song called Spelled In Waters. It is interesting that during his 25-year long career with Blind Guardian it´s first time, when Marcus was involved in a recordings with any other band.
