| Frey Hans Peter - drummer Hans Peter Frey recorded early on 1987 second demo tape Battalions of Fear still under the former band name Lucifer´s Heritage. It´s something astonishing why Thomen left the band after first demo tape to one year and returned back before the debut album recordings. Thomen personally don´t like questions about this event. Let´s know, Hans Peter Frey was at this time something as pinchhitter instead Thomen Stauch since 1986 till spring 1987. |

| Hahn Eberhard - you can see his name on the album At the Edge of Time and single A Voice in the Dark as flute player. Beside flute he is able to play as studio musician on clarinet, bass clarinet, sophran saxophone, saxophone, percussion. Several albums where Eberhard collaborated there: Andreas Vollenweier - Kryptos (1998), Andreas Vollenweier - Eolian Minstrel (1993), Marabouts - Invisible Landmarks (1999), Rossana & Zélia - Passagem (1996), Michael Kiedaisch - Terra Incognita (2006), Helloween - 7 Sinners (2010, flute solo on Raise the Noise).
Eberhard studied flute and saxophone and from 1985 to 1992 he worked as flautist and saxophonist in numerous musical and opera productions with Stuttgart-based theatre companies. He also worked as a session musician.

| Hansen Kai - formerly member and solo guitarist Kai Hansen leave speed metal cult Helloween and founded own band Gamma Ray (http://www.gammaray.org/). In the Blind Guardian story he comes first time on January 1989. Producer Kalle Trapp invited him to studio in Münster where recorded Blind Guardian second album Follow the Blind. Since this point rise up fast friendship between Blind Guardian and Kai. There are the fruits: 1989 Follow the Blind (co-author tracks Hall of the King and Valhalla, recorded in both tracks some guitar solo parts, recorded pre-chorus on Valhalla), 1990 Tales from the Twilight World (recorded backing screamings on Goodbye My Friend, recorded part of singing of Lost in the Twilight Hall and recorded part of guitar solo of The Last Candle), 1992 Somewhere Far Beyond (recorded guitar solo in The Quest For Tanelorn and was co-author for this track). Since this time engage more in Gamma Ray and side project Iron Savior with his old friend Piet Sielck. Kai´s musical journey labeled more artists: Second Hell, Gentry, Iron Fist, Helloween and Gamma Ray. Both recorded third Paradox album Collision Course and both standed with Blind Guardian on one stage during summer 2002 in South America during the Thomen Stauch indisposition. Rolf was one of best choir vocalist in Germany ever and his career began on 1970 under nickname Marc De Ville. His voice helped to pop bands as Modern Talking, so metal bands too. | Stauch Thomen - in the begining he did know if join or leave the Blind Guardian, but at least he took place behind drumset from first album and stay almost twenty years. But he want returned back to the roots of speed and thrash metal things while Blind Guardian step by step going more epic and therefore during summer 2005 Thomen left the Blind Guardian. With his old friend Piet Sielck recorded debut album for Piet´s band Iron Savior (/http://www.iron-savior.com/) and both fit the new band Savage Circus (http://www.savage-circus.com/), where Thomen recorded first album Dreamland Manor, but according to bad health he left the Savage Circus on 17th Autust 2007. Beside work on projects with Iron Savior and Savage Circus joined to the side project of the Soilwork frontman Björn Strid under the name Coldseed (http://www.coldseed.com/html/index.htm), where Thomen meet two another old friends from Blind Guardian guest musicians Oliver Holzwarth (bs) and Michael Schüren (keyb), in 2006 they released album Completion Makes The Tragedy. Since September 2008 Thomen joined the band Seelenzorn (http://www.seelenzorn.com/) instead old band drummer and jump to the writing and recording album Keine Angst. |

| Theissen Christoph - Christoph joined to Lucifer´s Heritage (formerly Blind Guardian name) during summer 1986. In winter 1986 recorded with the band second demo tape Battalions Of Fear. But some weeks after the recordings on March 1987 he leave the band cause in his opinion they are very good and profesional. His place before the debut album recordings occupy Markus Siepen. But Christoph immediately founded with his old friends Shorty and Captain new band under the name Pillow Killz.
